Lori's Bio

Hi, I’m Lori Kiteala and I want to give you a bit more information about who I am and how I got here.

My academic background is in science with a Bachelors degree in Biology and a Masters in Physiology from McGill University.

I also have Personal Training and Wellness Coaching certifications.

Over the past 18 years as a Learning Coach, I began to evolve and specialize in dyslexia and how it relates to the math experience.

With a private Coaching practice in Montreal Canada, my focus is on deepening my understanding of how dyslexia impacts a person’s academic and personal life. It’s from my dyslexic clientele that I have learned so much and have grown both personally and professionally.

I’ve got a solid track record of success in transforming peoples lives and guiding them to live their best life!

What I started to realize over the years was that my practice consisted of approximately 70% life-coaching with my peeps.

… and what blows my mind, is that we were achieving monumentally life changing results in my student’s relationship with their dyslexia.

My peeps were going from failing math grades to high 80-90% …

Even more importantly, they were beginning to celebrate their dyslexia and change their dyslexic life journeys!

I began to present my observations and information at conferences in Canada and the U.S.

The material always resonated with those who attended my sessions… which always lead to the question…

“How do you do what you do to get these results?”

To which I always replied

“I don’t exactly know”

I began to realize that I would needed to better manage this question…

This reflective process was sparked by a filmmaker who came to interview me in my office and who asked the pivotal question…

“How did you get here to be doing what you’re doing now?”

Which he then followed up with… “because what you’re doing in here, needs to get out there!

And that ignited my self-reflection! I spent the next two weeks with my rainbow of markers and my dotpad of paper…

I formalized how I do what I do and I was amazed and yet not surprised to see that it was exactly what I always believed it to be…

My Signature process that helped Reboot my peeps lives.

We spend time addressing the early academic traumas and how these have long term effects on self-confidence and self-esteem.

We generate self-care tools that help you shift the way you see your dyslexia and yourself!

And ultimately, we find a way for everyone to celebrate their dyslexic brilliance and to shine their own unique light in the world!

My goal is to continue helping my peeps succeed and exceed all academic expectations.

And now my new focus, is taking what I’ve learned from my brilliant dyslexics and bringing that to the world of MAXLEXIA™

So presently, I continue to coach teenagers and young adults on their dyslexic life journeys.

I find the stories fascinating and inspiring and I Podcast to share those with the world.

I created the MAXLEXIA™ Signature Program with all my heart and I will share this gift so that everyone recognizes dyslexic brilliance!
